LOCAL COMPANY FILMS "THE MAKING OF FLICKA 3"

Kelowna, BC - October 11, 2011: Media Button, a Kelowna multi-media company located on Tutt Street, had its team of videographers on location of the 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment's major motion picture, Flicka 3. The company was recently selected to capture the behind-the-scenes action along with interviews with the stars and cast for the film's DVD special features and bonus footage.

Media Button provided a combination of video equipment and crew. "It's a great opportunity to work on the set of a major motion picture in our own backyard," explains Media Button President, Dave Araki. "We're especially honoured in knowing that 20th Century Fox selected a local company to provide services for this element of the movie release.

Local film industry projects are instrumental in helping promote the area, create employment and support local business. "It was a big league production, and while our part was small, it certainly adds to the long list of local companies that have seen economic benefit from the movie being filmed here." said Araki. "Hats off to the Okanagan Film Commission for landing a project of this scale."

Media Button's crew filmed along side Hollywood producer Emily Paul, who will complete the special features back in L.A.

"I look forward to having a movie night with our entire team to celebrate the movie release. Araki added with a smile "I think we'll be the only people who watch the bonus footage before the movie!"
