History

Our proven history dating back to 1991 demonstrates our innovation, stability and ability to adapt to the ever changing market. It all started with interactive marketing when Dave Araki (President of Media Button) gave up his radio career and built a successful company from an idea which became known as "The Talking Yellow Pages." Offered in conjunction with BC Tel /TELUS, the Talking Yellow Pages service branched out to cover 7 cities and generated over 8 million phone calls per year and, as a result, advertising interest from thousands of businesses.

In 1997 our sister company, Sold on Hold Phone Messaging www.getsoldonhold.com, was established and continues to provide services to businesses across Canada and the USA.

2001 was the beginning of the transformation from interactive phone service to interactive media. In fact, our very first interactive CD won an advertising of the year award from Re/Max Canada!

Today Media Button has grown into a premiere digital creation company.

Facility

Our 5,000 square foot facility was designed to house everything "under one roof" with web design and development, audio, video, graphics, photo and video editing suites, scriptwriting, and marketing, along with an 800 square foot photo and video studio equipped with the latest technology.
